The odd ones out are the cool ones in.
3RD Act releases electronic music with all the feels.

RELAX - EP

Engelbert returns to 3RD Act Records with “Relax

A 3-track EP that bridges melodic with a more rave-driven progressive.

Built as a journey in rising intensity, the EP opens with the title track “Relax”, a progressive/melodic club track driven by hypnotic grooves and a vocal mantra repeating: “relax, embrace it.” Warm, uplifting and immersive, it sets the tone before things take a darker turn.

Pattern Set” pushes deeper into peak-time territory with rave-infused energy, rolling tension and a massive second drop designed for late-night dance floors.

Closing track “Senses” dives into the darkest space of the EP, atmospheric, emotional and trance-leaning, blending haunting textures with driving momentum.

NEW ELEMENTS 1 - VA

The idea for the album was born during ADE 2025, when 3RD Act hosted a gathering focused on producers, new music, and creative connection. Among those present were LackOfAffekt, Mike Kohl, Skenna, and Samuel Dictus, who together with organiser Engelbert laid the foundation for what would become this project. Soon after, Stereo Underground, Manke Poot, and Jan Krišs joined the journey.

The vision behind NEW ELEMENTS1 was to showcase a wide spectrum of electronic music, an honest reflection of everything 3RD Act stands for. From deep grooves to cinematic breaks, every track carries its own identity, atmosphere, and emotion. The album unfolds as a listening journey while staying deeply connected to the dance floor.

VAGRANT - EP

Vagrant is the new EP by Mike Kohl and Engelbert. The collaboration began after the two met at NEW ELEMENTS during Amsterdam Dance Event, where their shared love for progressive and techno quickly turned into studio chemistry. The EP features two original tracks with a distinctive approach, “Vagrant” and “Voyage Extraordinair,” complemented by a melodic remix from JP Lantieri.

The title track “Vagrant” has already received notable support, appearing on Miss Melera’s Colourizon 160 and Oliver Weiter’s Radio Show 84. Built around a catchy chord progression, the track blends uplifting melodic elements with driving energy. Its atmospheric break builds tension before delivering a crowd pleasing return on the dancefloor.

Voyage Extraordinair” explores a more dreamy side of the collaboration. While still rooted in the same progressive spirit, the track feels like an inner journey, flowing effortlessly with a carefree and emotional atmosphere. It captures the essence of Mike Kohl and Engelbert’s first collaboration that sparked this unique musical partnership.

JP Lantieri’s remix takes “Vagrant” deeper into the darker corners of the club. Heavy, textured and filled with dynamic fills, the remix delivers a powerful wall of sound built for late night dancefloors. It was also featured on Oliver Weiter’s Radio Show 85, further amplifying the EP’s early momentum.

HOE HOOG - EP

Driven by melodic progressive grooves, the EP carries a reflective but forward-looking mood. Optimistic melodies and a constant sense of movement make these tracks feel just as right in a late-night moment as they do on the dancefloor.

Hoe Hoog (ft. Luke van Veen) continues the creative connection between Engelbert and Luke van Veen, following earlier collaborations such as Goud (Manual) and Dwalen (Steyoyoke). Sung in Dutch, the track reflects on growth over time, wondering how far someone can go once their potential starts to show. Luke's vocals blend effortlessly with the progressive flow, creating something intimate, hopeful, and quietly uplifting.

Endless Autumn captures a sense of longing and renewal, inspired by the slow transition from winter toward lighter days. Featured by Olivier Weiter's on his legendary 10 hour set at Ijland, the track combines a warm, optimistic melody with a steady, danceable drive. It sits in that in-between space where seasons change and new energy begins to emerge.

HALF TRUTHS - EP

A new EP by LackOfAffekt lands on 3rd Act. Known for his dark and deep productions, LackOfAffekt stays firmly in his signature territory. This release embraces the shadows with club-oriented tracks built on driving rhythms, hypnotic leads, and beautifully dissonant techno textures.

Half Truths opens the EP with force, pulling the listener into a relentless ride. Echoing the spirit of old-school Berlin raves, it blends dark melodic elements with heavy drones, sharp stabs, and of course a solid, uncompromising kick.

Poignant the second track, follows in the same vein while pushing the energy further. It showcases LackOfAffekt unmistakable sound and feel: gritty yet polished, like the soundtrack to a rave deep inside a concrete tunnel, red neon lights cutting through thick stage mist.

Half Truths (Engelbert Remix) takes the original into a different landscape. Engelbert reshapes the driving stabs into a melodic foundation, adding layered atmospheres that transform the track into a cinematic journey, like a train ride through Switzerland in a glass-roof carriage, motion and emotion unfolding with every turn.
